Micromax Canvas Knight A350 With Octa Core CPU

Indian mobile device maker, Micromax, has announced the launch of its new flagship Android smartphone, the Canvas Knight. The device is Micromax’s first true octa-core processor-based smartphone and is priced at Rs 19,999. Even though this is Micromax’s first octa-core based smartphone, devices from other brands like Gionee, Intex and iBerry have already been in the market since last year.

Nevertheless, Micromax has tried to differentiate the Canvas Knight from the competition. The device gets an aluminium unibody design that is both good looking and sturdy. Along with this, Canvas Knight is also the first flagship single-SIM Android smartphone from the brand.

To power it up, Micromax has made use of a MediaTek MT6592T processor aided by a healthy 2GB RAM, promising fast performance and smoother multi-tasking. For the display, the Canvas Knight gets a 5-inch IPS LCD panel manufactured by Sharp, boasting full HD resolution at 443ppi pixel density, offering better visuals with zero pixilation.

In terms of storage, the Canvas Knight gets 32GB on-board, without an option to expand it further.

At the back, the device gets a 16-megapixel camera with OmniVision’s sensor and a M8 Largan Lens. At the front, the device gets an 8-megapixel camera. Both cameras are capable of recording full HD videos at 30 fps. The smartphone also gets a Yamaha audio processor, promising better sound output and quality.
