Samsung Galaxy J1 (SM-J100) Specifications Leaked

Samsung Galaxy J1 will have a 4.3-inch 480×800 TFT LCD touchscreen, a 5 MP rear camera, and a 2 MP front snapper.

Samsung’s plans to simplify its naming strategy for smartphones will see lineups like the Galaxy A, E and J make their way to the market in the coming months (the Galaxy A lineup has already been made fully official.) We’ve exclusively revealed full specifications of various devices in the Galaxy A and E series in the past, and now, we’ve managed to dig up info on the Galaxy J1, the first device in the Galaxy J series. The Galaxy J1 (SM-J100) has been spotted online in the past couple of weeks), so we already know some of its specs, but one of our sources has given us info to fill in the blanks.

The Galaxy J1 will feature a 4.3-inch TFT LCD display of WVGA (800×480) resolution -the phone was spotted with a 4.8-inch display in a benchmark, but given our source has never been incorrect in the past, we’re inclined to believe the device that appeared in the benchmark might have been a test model. The J1 will be powered by a 64-bit quad-core Marcell PXA1908 chipset clocked at 1.2GHz, and also come with 1GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 4GB of expandable internal storage, and a 1,850mAh battery.
